If you ask me what the perfect reading day looks like, I would say the one I had this month! It was the first time it officially felt like Fall in Michigan. I had the house to myself. I had my windows open. I had pumpkin candles burning. I was reading the best book and texting about it with a friend. *Sigh* Perfection!!!! If I'm not reading a book at the beach, I want to be reading a book on a Fall day with pumpkin candles burning. Here's the five books I read in Continue Reading
ALL the FALL Feels {Friday Favorites}
I am downright giddy about my first Michigan Fall. Let's be honest, I burned pumpkin spice candles in Oklahoma when it was 100 degrees outside. I love fall so much and I'm about to experience a legit one! I just keep adding to my TBR pile. Regardless, I still read a lot of great books this summer. Here's a recap of the six books I finished in August. Summer Hours by Continue Reading
Three Things I’m Doing {Each Day} for Me!

Jackson and I lived with my parents in Texas for three weeks, we met up with John and stayed in St. Louis for a week and then spent two weeks at a lake cottage outside of Detroit until our house was finished. I had never been so ready to be settled in my own home. Once we moved in, we had to adjust to a new time zone and the fact that it didn't get dark until Continue Reading
