I've been waiting a long time for February 2023; anticipating the release of Beth Moore's memoir. I pre-ordered the book months ago and immediately started listening when it popped up in my Audible app on February 21st. I'm usually not a fan of audio books, but I couldn't pass up the audio version of her memoir because she reads it and I love her Texas twang! I finished the book in less than 24 hours. Ya'll, I love Beth Moore. She's been instrumental in my walk with Jesus for many years. Continue Reading
January Reflections {2023}
I used to write a monthly blog about the things I learned each month. I decided to do something similar this year and call it Monthly Reflections. Just a chance to reflect on the month and all that it taught me. In January I learned that... It's Okay If My Quiet Time Is Not Quiet This month one of my goals was to wake up and spend time with Jesus before Jackson woke up. Um, it's winter in Michigan and my sleep schedule is so off. Jennifer Reads {January 2023}
I've kicked off a new year of reading and I'm feeling good about my book choices. I finished six books this month and quit three. Yep, I'm not wasting time on books I don't love. The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand I normally read the newest Elin book as soon as it's released, but after learning there was a Continue Reading
January Favorites {2023}
In the past I've participated in a Friday Favorites weekly post, but since I don't blog as often as I used to I decided to do things a little differently this year. I plan to share a monthly list of some of my favorite finds. I love sharing my favorite things and love hearing about others favorites. This month some of my favorite finds include... This Eye Mask I can thank my friend Emily for telling me about this eye mask! It is AMAZING and available on Amazon here. It's heated and Continue Reading
A Few Reading Goals for 2023…
This year I've decided to set a lower number for my reading goal, because I want to enjoy the books I'm reading instead of rushing through them just to check them off a list. I plan to read 50 books in 2023. If I read more, great; if not, no biggie. As I was filling out my new book planner - yes, I have the most awesome book planner this year - I wrote out a few more goals for myself when it comes to reading and books. Read the Books in My TBR Pile Before Buying More Okay, I have Continue Reading
