These days I'm finding joy in a fizzy Dr Pepper poured over extra ice. My Bible open and a pumpkin spice candle flickering on my happy turquoise table. I'm finding joy in throwing a load of laundry in and putting something in the CrockPot for dinner. I'm finding joy in the freedom of this season. To breathe. To linger. To fill up what's been poured out the past five and a half years. Seven words often pop into my head when I start to feel flustered; when I start to feel pressure because Continue Reading

Finding My New Groove and Giving Myself Permission to Breathe
We've officially survived the first week of Kindergarten and it went better than we could have dreamed. I am one VERY PROUD Mama! God has answered so many prayers - for the right school, the right teacher, for Jackson to have self-control - and I could go on and on and on. Will you join the APRAXIA AVENGERS and help us defeat Apraxia? Childhood Apraxia of Speech is a neurological speech disorder that robbed Jackson of his voice for Continue Reading

Your Lightening McQueen backpack and matching lunchbox are ready. You've met your teacher and checked out your classroom. Today I will walk you in and although I'm excited for you, I'm also a little Continue Reading
