I didn't see the gifts hidden amidst the snow when it greeted me Thursday morning. I had a toddler who was wide awake at 5 a.m. and a notice that his school would be closed because of the weather. So I pouted. We had been cooped up inside the majority of the week. Freezing temperatures. Snow. Ice. Nasty wind chills. I had been looking forward to Thursday. I always look forward to Thursdays and Fridays. Jackson has school (which he loves). I get two days to write and be Continue Reading
Unexpected Gifts….
Lately, my morning prayer has been for the Lord to fill me with love and selflessness. I ask for patience and for guidance as I lead Jackson down a path of righteousness. (Colossians 2:6-7) Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 2. Pray more for Jackson. Trust God with the big and the little in my Continue Reading
