I did something crazy this month - something I've never done before...I read an ENTIRE book on my PHONE!!!! I know, I know, people apparently do it all the time, but I never had. I have a friend who reads on her phone all the time and the thought of it just didn't sound appealing until I found myself in Texas without my Kindle or a book (GASP!!!). I had no choice but to start a book on my phone and it actually wasn't so bad. This month I also enjoyed reading at my happy place - the beach. Continue Reading
Jennifer Reads {August 2021}
August was a weird reading month. I went almost two weeks without picking up a book. I didn't finish a single book on a our road trip to Michigan (and I had 26 hours I could have read). I think I just had a lot on my mind this month, which made it difficult to concentrate on reading. I also binge watched Chesapeake Shores, so there's that. This month I enjoyed floating in the pool and reading good books on my Kindle Paperwhite. Do you have one? They are AMAZING!!!! Jackson and I also finished reading two books together and I included those, too! Here's what I read this month... Under the Southern Sky by Kristy Woodson Harvey This was my first official read of summer and it was perfect! I finished in two days! When journalist Amelia Saxton discovers that frozen Continue Reading

This month I read four books; two of which I. Could. Not. Put. Down!! I'm pretty sure The People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry will make my top three reads of 2021. I was a little hesitant about reading it because I didn't exactly love her first book; but after a few friends recommended it I decided to go for it. I absolutely loved this book - so much better (and different) than her first book. I adored Poppy and Alex and their quirky personalities. These two are complete opposites, Continue Reading
