I've made a promise to myself this year. I will read because I love to read! I will not make reading one more thing to mark off my to do list! Reading is for pleasure. I don't want to turn it into something stressful. After all, my One Word for 2018 is Savor! And one more thing, if I'm not loving a book, I have permission to stop reading! I can close it and move on! Life is too short to read bad books! The good news is my January reads were all really good! I finished them all. I also Continue Reading
My Favorite Things of 2017
Hello 2018! It's hard to believe we've said goodbye to 2017! I'm still sorting through my thoughts and goals for the new year. This book gave me permission to just be me. To stop caring so much about what other people think and to be courageous enough to be me even if I'm standing alone. I also loved how Brown made it a point to say we all have Continue Reading

I want to remember what it's truly about - the birth of a Savior. Today I thought I'd share a few things that make our home feel extra special this time of the year. Pictures, Continue Reading
