Hello 2018! It's hard to believe we've said goodbye to 2017! I'm still sorting through my thoughts and goals for the new year. There are several areas where I want to see growth, but more than anything I want to press in to Jesus and continue what I started in 2017. I intend to write about my plans for the new year once I get them all sorted out. Until then, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things from 2017! 1. Eleven Things I Learned In December {2017}
I'm Not a Fan of Frozen Meals I've never been one to prepare a bunch of freezer meals to make dinner time easier. Why? Because they never taste good to me once I cook them. Recently we bought some frozen meals from a place in my hometown. It's a great place, with great food, but I could only eat the meatloaf. The two casseroles were disgusting! What I Read in 2017
Braving the Wilderness By Brene' Brown A friend told me about this book and I am so glad I read it. I want to remember what it's truly about - the birth of a Savior. Today I thought I'd share a few things that make our home feel extra special this time of the year. Pictures, Continue Reading
What I’ve Been Reading {November 2017}
My reading has slowed down quite a bit compared to how much I was reading earlier this year. I think there's a lot of reasons for this, but a big one is this - reading started to become another task to be checked off my to do list. I love to read, but instead of curling up with a good book to relax, I was anxious to hurry through a book and get started on the next one. I felt like I had to prove I was an avid reader by reading a certain number of books. How silly is that? So I haven't been Continue Reading
