This month I finished five books and I started a new devotional! I also learned that I'd much rather read a book than listen to one. Here's what I read in March... The Spinster Series By Becky Monson A friend from high school recommended this series to me and it was just what I needed - good chick lit to escape the mundane moments of motherhood at the end of a long day! The series consists of three books: Thirty-Two Going on Spinster; Thirty-Three Going on Girlfriend and Thirty-Four Continue Reading
What I’ve Been Reading {February 2018}
I got a little book buying happy this month! I had a huge stack sitting on my bedside table and a couple waiting for me on my Kindle. I finished four of them and I call that success. After all, I'm savoring books this year - no rushing through them just to mark another one off my list. Here's what I read this month... Girl, Wash Your Face By Rachel Hollis Several friends on Facebook recommended this book and their recommendations are usually good! This one included. I could relate Continue Reading
I’ll Be Bold, Courageous & Honest (Even When It’s Hard!)
Last week was a week of very high highs and some pretty sucky lows! If I mess up or an appointment gets canceled Continue Reading
What I’ve Been Reading {January 2018}
I've made a promise to myself this year. I will read because I love to read! I will not make reading one more thing to mark off my to do list! Reading is for pleasure. I don't want to turn it into something stressful. After all, my One Word for 2018 is Savor! And one more thing, if I'm not loving a book, I have permission to stop reading! I can close it and move on! Life is too short to read bad books! The good news is my January reads were all really good! I finished them all. I also Continue Reading
