My reading felt sporadic this month, but I somehow managed to finish five books. Now that the weather is getting nicer and the days longer, I see a lot of reading happening on my porch swing. I have a lot of good books headed my way thanks to the preorder option on Amazon! I'm also excited to join my friend for the online bookclub she's starting next month. Okay, my absolute favorite read this month was, Eliza Starts a Rumor by Jane L. Rosen. I decided to read this book after Elin Continue Reading

It's time for my monthly book review! Look at these cute new graphics I had made for my monthly posts! I love them so much! It was a little birthday present to myself. This month I read three books that I loved and quit one book that I didn't. I tried so hard to love Anxious People by Fredrik Backman, but I could not get into it. Here are the books I read this month and my thoughts about them. Risen Motherhood by Emily Jensen & Laura Wifler I read this book because PURSUE is my word for 2021 and this book is about pursuing Christ in motherhood. This book reminded me that mundane moments matter. These small moments add Continue Reading

Sharing a few of my favorite things from this week! Happy Friday! Joy's Chocolate Chip Cookies My friend Joy makes the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! She tried to teach me how to make them, and I even have her secret recipe, but mine never turn out as good as hers. Even John agrees. A highlight from my week was receiving cookie dough from Joy! Yum! This Cute Sweatshirt I stumbled across this sweatshirt on an Amazon ad and immediately clicked add to cart. It's cute and Continue Reading
