To The Mama Waiting for the Miracle: I saw your Facebook post today and my heart ached for you. I wanted to reach through the screen and give you a hug. We've never met face-to-face, but our worlds are very much the same. I wish I could take your hand in mine, look you in the eye and tell you you're doing an amazing job. I know you don't believe that, but you are. I know you're scared, sad, frustrated, overwhelmed and emotionally drained. I know you probably feel lonely. Special Continue Reading
FRIDAY FAVORITES
I'm trying something new this week. I love reading Mix and Match Mama's weekly list of favorite things. She links up with a few friends each Friday to share some fun stuff. Four Things I Learned In August
Writing Is My Offering There's several reasons this space has been silent this summer. For starters, I wanted the summer to be about making memories with Jackson. This isn't your first first day of school, but something about today feels different. It's a big milestone; a major turning point. In May I was uncertain. I didn't know if you'd be ready. But this summer you've blown us away. You've found your voice and you're on your way to great things. Have I told you how Continue Reading
Where We Go To Breathe {And the Difference a Year Makes}

Growing up I spent summers in the cool mountain air of Colorado. My parents just aren't beach people; but it has become my happy place. Jackson's too. He's quite the little beach bum. We've been home less than 48 hours and he's already asking to go back. Maybe we should relocate? Destin Continue Reading
