Last week we were on our way to pick up our Goldendoodle, Jellybean, from the groomer. I so excited to see Jellybean. I miss her, Jackson said. I could tell he was bubbling with excitement by the way he was bouncing up and down; his smile wide and radiant. He could not wait to see his dog! Now that he's found his voice, Jackson tells us how he feeling more and more. I scared of thunder and lightening. I no like haircuts. They scary. I love Jellybean. She's good dog. Slow, Simple, Surrendered
The Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He impressed the word Savor upon my heart at the beginning of this year. He saw the big picture. He knew what my heart was going to be longing for. We’ve been homeschooling for exactly one month and I can’t shake the feeling that He’s calling me to a slower, simpler, more surrendered life. Slow days of sight words in our pajamas. Teaching Transportation Style
The cool thing about homeschooling? You can get as creative as you want and teach your kiddos using their favorite things! Jackson's favorite things? Trucks, Trains and Planes (and anything in-between)! Last week Jackson climbed in my bed at 6 a.m. with a jet! He started telling me all about it and how he loved vehicles. That short conversation inspired our entire day of learning. For Handwriting and Spelling I made flashcards with the names of many of his favorite vehicles. He Continue Reading
