I decided I'm going to do a better job of sharing monthly book reviews this year. Maybe that way I won't be overwhelmed at the end of the year when I'm trying to compile my booklist. Here are the books I read this month and my thoughts about them. Risen Motherhood by Emily Jensen & Laura Wifler I read this book because PURSUE is my word for 2021 and this book is about pursuing Christ in motherhood. Sharing a few of my favorite things from this week! Happy Friday! Joy's Chocolate Chip Cookies My friend Joy makes the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! She tried to teach me how to make them, and I even have her secret recipe, but mine never turn out as good as hers. Even John agrees. A highlight from my week was receiving cookie dough from Joy! It's been a year of growth. It's been hard at times, but overall, so, so good. What makes this year unforgettable? So many things: our annual trip to the beach, taking Jackson to Disney World, the amazing progress Jackson has made in so many areas, realizing what a privilege it is to homeschool Continue Reading
