October is a good month for reading thrillers and that's exactly what I did this month! I enjoyed reading on my porch swing, soaking up the perfect fall weather that finally found its way to Oklahoma. This months reads were a little more on the heavy side, but next month I'll start reading my (very big) stack of holiday books, which are light, fun and just make me super happy! If you're looking for a good fall read, you should definitely check out these titles... Not a Happy Family by Continue Reading
Jennifer Reads: My Holiday Stack
I'm a sucker for a good holiday Rom-com. There's nothing better than reading one in front of the fireplace while the lights on the Christmas tree twinkle. Yesterday I realized I have 13 holiday books to read between now and the end of the year. I might have gone a little overboard with my pre-orders. I decided to share my holiday book list with you in case you're looking for a light and fun read this holiday season. October Writing Challenge #11 – Above

October Writing Challenge #10 – Well That Wasn’t On My Fall Bucket List
Burning fall candles, photographing the changing leaves, nature hikes with my family. These are a few of the things I put on my fall bucket list. I did not put dodging tornadoes, but when you live in Oklahoma you just never know when you'll have to go into your scaredy hole! Thankfully Jackson vacuumed ours out today because it looks like the Oklahoma weather could get rough. When the meteorologists moved us from the moderate to high zone I decided I should probably pack a bag. Continue Reading
October Writing Challenge #9 – A Fall{ish} Saturday
It's a Fall{ish} Saturday in Oklahoma. Last I heard, the Sooners are getting beat by Texas. Ugh! The temperature is way too hot for October. The wind is blowing like crazy, because, well, I live in Oklahoma and that's what the wind does 99% of the time. I went to Bath and Body Works this morning and stocked up on Fall candles and soaps. My favorite scent from last year (caramel apple) is burning as I type. Jackson and I just finished reading a cute Halloween book and Continue Reading
