March included a week in my Happy Place, so that is definitely my top favorite thing from this month. 30A has my heart! Someday, maybe I can stay forever. Until then, I will visit as often as I can!
Before we went to Florida, we spent a week in Texas visiting my family, which leads me to my second favorite thing this month.
All the Texas Food
I ate so much of the stuff I cannot get in Michigan! Legit Tex-Mex, cream gravy, chicken fried steak, DQ ice cream. I hit all my favorite places: Tarahumaura’s (in Norman, Oklahoma), Rosa’s, Mary’s, Chicken Express and Whataburger! It’s probably a good thing I live up north away from all this food.
Warmer Temperatures
I had to go south, but I enjoyed sunshine and temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s during our week in Florida! I didn’t realize how desperately I had missed the sun! January in Michigan was rough! It’s not the cold or snow that bothers me, it’s the gloomy grey skies! We soaked up the vitamin D! And oh. my. goodness! The color of the ocean was phenomenal during our visit!
Talking Books With My Bestie
Our friends went to Florida with us and Emily is a big book nerd like me! We had so much fun spending the week talking about books, filling out our book journals and visiting local bookstores. It will forever be one of the best memories from our trip.
This Hair Wash
I’d heard great things about this hair wash so I grabbed some at Trader Joe’s this week. It is AMAZING!!! The smell is incredible and it leaves my hair so easy to brush out. Definitely recommend.
These Highlighters
I’m a bit obsessed with pens and highlighters and these are currently some of my favorite ones! I especially love the grey highlighter. I find myself using it all the time! You can grab a set here.
