I’ve been waiting a long time for February 2023; anticipating the release of Beth Moore’s memoir. I pre-ordered the book months ago and immediately started listening when it popped up in my Audible app on February 21st.
I’m usually not a fan of audio books, but I couldn’t pass up the audio version of her memoir because she reads it and I love her Texas twang! I finished the book in less than 24 hours.
Ya’ll, I love Beth Moore. She’s been instrumental in my walk with Jesus for many years. I’ve dived deep into many of her Bible studies. Those studies carried me through infertility, adoption, special needs parenting, etc. This book made me laugh. It made me cry. It is one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Beth’s love for Jesus is authentic. Her storytelling is incredible. She speaks truth even when it costs her. I have so, so much respect for her. Wow! I cannot recommend this book enough. MY RATING: 5/5 STARS
Here’s what else I read in February…
Differently Wired: Raising an Exceptional Child in a Conventional World by Deborah Reber
I listened to a podcast with this author and immediately ordered her book. It was full of great information on raising/educating kids with disabilities. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a neurodiverse child. MY RATING: 4/5 STARS

The two connect over work and mutual attraction. Izabelle finds herself letting her guard down and asking Jake to help make her presentation pop. Can she trust him or will she get burned again? This book is a spicy rom-com. It’s definitely rated R for language and sexual content. MY RATING: 4/5 STARS

My Phony Valentine by Courtney Walsh
I LOVED this book! I fell in love with the main characters – Poppy and Dallas. Yes, it’s another fake dating story, but these characters captured my heart. Also, I loved that it’s a clean rom-com. It’s just a feel-good book about a professional hockey player and a small-town chef helping each other out (and ultimately falling in love!) MY RATING: 5/5 STARS
