{Good} Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!

We are headed to Texas to celebrate Easter with my family!

I hope each of you has an Easter filled with the hope that can only be found in Jesus.

Here’s a few things that made my favorites list this week.

This Album

I’ve been listening to Carrie Underwood’s new album My Savior nonstop this week. It’s been the perfect music leading up to Easter. It’s also come in handy for our Easter study since we had to listen to a few hymns to go with our lessons.

These Books About Jesus

I had never heard of this book series until I had to order a few titles to go with our Easter study. I wish I would have known about them sooner. These books are amazing! They tell Bible stories so wonderfully and the illustrations are amazing. I plan to purchase the remaining books to complete our collection.

Signs of Spring

I went for a walk around our neighborhood lakes a few days ago and glimpses of Spring were everywhere. I couldn’t help but snap a few pictures along the way.

Tulips

Speaking of signs of Spring, there is nothing that makes me happier than tulips! Jackson and I went on a little field trip this week to see all the tulips in bloom at the botanical garden in Oklahoma City. They were absolutely breathtaking. Jackson asked me if they made my heart happy and I told him they totally did!

Goals Met

He’s been working like crazy to accomplish this goal at OT. The motor planning involved to tie shoes is tricky. Normally, he puts on his socks and shoes and then I tie them. But this week he initiated the task all on his own and DID IT perfectly!

My New Sectional

We ordered a new couch back in January and it was finally delivered last week. John says I look like Alice when she shrunk in Alice and Wonderland. This sectional is amazing! It is huge! It is cozy! It’s the perfect place to read, take a nap or watch my favorite show!
