I recently read Sally Clarkson’s book Different, which she wrote with her son Nathan. It’s an amazing book and I highly recommend it to any special needs mama. I shared a little bit about the book on my Facebook page and Sally shared my post! Talk about my day being made! I was tickled pink!

Jackson Is Ready for His First Flight

We participated in the Wings for Autism program at our local airport this month and it was such an incredible experience for our family! You can read all about it here. Jackson keeps asking when he can ride an airplane to the beach!

Never Say Never

I said I would never wear a pair of Lularoe Leggings. You can now call me a big, fat liar! I decided to try them after falling in love with a pair that had a cute Valentine print. I’ll be honest, I don’t love the way I look in them. My hips are a little big and I feel self-conscience, but they are sooo soft and comfy! The fun prints just make me super happy! So even though I’m a little self-conscience, I’m going to keep rocking them.

What Transparency Does

I wrote this post about a particularly hard day in the motherhood department and was shocked by the feedback I received! When we’re transparent, it’s like reaching out a hand to let someone else know they can be transparent, too! Let’s never be afraid to be admit our weaknesses, fears and failures. It’s in the admitting that we find healing.

We’re Moving!

We put our house on the market on February 23 (my birthday) and it was under contract February 25th! Ummm….we need to find a place to live and we need to find it quick! It’s bittersweet to leave this house – the house we moved into the month before we got married, the house we brought Jackson home to, the house filled with more memories than I can count. We are a little sad, but also very excited to start the new chapter ahead of us!
