We’ll all face situations and seasons that suck.

I recently came across this quote and fell in love with the meaning.
I don’t think we get exempt from the pain because we live good lives. Some circumstances we can’t control – in fact, most are truly beyond our abilities. Instead maybe it’s how we get made new; it’s one of the only times we slow down enough to listen and receive grace, real grace. (Jane & Lizzy)
Grace is waiting to meet us in our deepest mess.
Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we can approach God’s thrown of grace boldly; with confidence. When we do, He will give us the grace and mercy we need to make it through the difficult thing we are facing.
Grace meets me in the uncertainty of my son’s Apraxia diagnosis.
Grace meets me when motherhood becomes too much.
Grace meets me when he looks at me with those dark eyes. Eyes that see the greatest mom in the world; even when I feel like anything but.
Motherhood is full of lessons in grace.
Jackson offers it so freely.
He has taught me just how desperately I need Jesus.
Jesus. Mercy. Grace.
And it’s there. To meet me in the mess.
Grace will meet you in your own mess.
You just have to reach out and grasp it.
