I’m not sure what you’re facing today.
Maybe it’s a laundry pile, another dirty diaper, or a sink full of dishes.
Maybe you face an obstacle so great you don’t know how you’ll overcome it.
Maybe you’re facing the consequences of a bad decisoin.
Can I tell you something?
Despite the situations surrounding you, no matter how unworthy you may feel, God chose YOU!
For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you….(1 Thessalonians 1:4)
Chosen and loved by a Holy God who isn’t surprised by your current circumstances.
He sees you buried beneath the laundry.
He sees past the mistakes you’ve made.
He sees you resisting the urge to have a tantrum along side your toddler.
He sees you question your worth and purpose.
And despite all the uncertainty and feelings of unworthiness God still desire to use YOU!
Will you let Him?
Because He chose ordinary, imperfect you to do extraordinary, glorious things for Him.
Beth Moore writes, Satan loves to fuel our feelings of failure. Just when we finally muster the courage to act or take a stand for the gospel, he prompts us to believe we blew it. Our feelings of failure can start an ongoing cycle of inadequacy.
We’ve all failed, but that does not make us failures.
Satan wins when we believe God can’t redeem our mistakes and bring something good from them.
There is no reason – as daughters of the King – that we should feel inadequate.
You’re chosen, You’re loved.
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. (John 15:16)
