Sometimes it’s so hard to grasp. God, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, loves me.
He loves you.
We forget this truth. How can he love imperfect, sinful, me?
I yelled at my son yesterday.
The piles of dishes and laundry consumed me. Did I even stop to pray?
Our silence, our business, our imperfections do not change His love for us.
Nothing can separate us from His love. (Romans 8:39)
His love is present. He sprinkles it throughout our day, if only we will open our eyes to see . If only we will accept the love He freely gives.
I’m reminded of His love when he whispers to my heart in the bookstore as I pour over His word – an answer to the prayer muttered earlier in the car.
I’m reminded of His love as I write out one thousand gifts one by one.
#15 Whirly, twirly snow. Sun reflecting crystal.
#24 Spaghetti-O smiles as he drifts off to sleep.
How does God remind you of His love? Look around….there’s a love letter awaiting you.
Today, May The Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our father, who LOVES you, and by his grace gave you eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your heart and strengthen you in every good deed and word. ( 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

We are neighbors today and I am so glad I stopped by! I am a counter of gifts as well and how much does that help to remind us day by day of how much He loves us? Counting with you…

Jennifer,
This was a great reminder and encouragement to me this morning, remembering that nothing can separate me from the love of God (even on my worst days). Bless you today!
