I’ve always tried to spend November focused on the many things I have to be thankful for. November happens to be National Adoption Awareness Month. Adoption has played a huge role in my life. I am thankful that God chose adoption to fulfill the deepest desire of my heart – to be a mother.
Every single day, even when he’s testing my patience, I am thankful that God chose me to be Jackson’s mommy. But there are two sides to adoption. I am not only thankful for the boy who loves all things trucks, I am also extremely grateful for the woman who chose to give her son life.
There was one particular night when Jackson was only a few months old, that my gratitude for his birth mother swelled.
Today I’m sharing that special story over on my friend Kayse’s blog. I hope you’ll join me there for her series On Gratefulness & Gratitude.
