All the prayers. All the tears. The publisher meetings. The no’s. The doubts. The weekends spent hashing out words I prayed would make a difference.
Yesterday I clicked on Amazon to see if my book had released. I expected to see the same message I had previously seen when I typed my book title in the search engine – no items found.
I was staring at my book. It was there on Amazon and over on the Barnes and Noble website.
I fired off a few texts to family and close friends to let them know it was finally available to purchase.
This dream God put on my heart not long after He called us to adopt has finally become reality.
I was reminded of a verse God gave me during SheSpeaks two years ago. I had a book proposal in hand but a measly platform. None of the publishers wanted to take a chance on me. But God gave me this promise: “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” (Luke 1:45)
I had no idea how He would fulfill his promise to me, but I believed He would. I just had to be obedient and write. He would reveal the rest in His time. I had to believe He would use our story (regardless of my small platform) for His glory.
Two years after He whispered that promise to my heart, I am humbled and so excited to announce that Bringing Home the Missing Linck: A Journey of Faith to Family is now available!
I pray our story encourages you. I pray it draws you closer to Jesus. I pray every word is used for His glory!

I pray our story will encourage you during your wait. Waiting is so hard, but know that it’s all SO worth it in the end! God’s timing is so perfect! Good luck on your journey!
