This week I started having a morning devotion time with Jackson. 🙂 Can I just say that I look forward to it every morning. Yes, Jackson grabs for the book and my Bible. He’s a wild animal these days. And I realize Jackson is only 8-months-old, but it’s never too early to start planting God’s word in his heart AND it’s been good for me too.
After All, we’re supposed to have child-like faith, right?
“I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Mark 10:15)
We bought the little devotion book before Jackson was born. It has 100 devotions and 100 songs that go with each day’s devotion. I read the devotion to Jackson, we play the song, and then we pray about what we’ve learned. I let him play with his Hug a Bible during our devotion time 🙂
The other day our devotion was about friends! Yes, one of Jackson’s best friends is his dog, Story 🙂
