“Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished.” ~ Luke 1:45
Before the first session of the SheSpeaks pre-conference, I was thinking to myself and quietly asking God to show me a verse that I could use on my new blog. 1 Samuel 1:27 was displayed on my blog as we waited for a child, but now that our Missing Linck is in our arms, I felt like I needed a new verse. Something that was a reminder of God’s faithfulness.
During the first session, Luann Prater spoke about staying encouraged in the midst of discouragement and shared Luke 1:45, “Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished.
Those words resonated in my spirit and I knew in that moment that God had given me the verse for my new blog.
The Lord told me I would become a mother through adoption – I believed.
The Lord told me I was to adopt the baby at the Mission – I believed.
The Lord told me I was to go to the SheSpeaks conference – I believed
The Lord told me I’m to write a book about our adoption journey – I choose to believe
Luke 1:45 is filled with so much hope and encouragement. It’s a reminder to cling to the promises of Jesus. To trust that what he says is true. To believe that He can and will accomplish anything that He has laid on your heart – anything! It doesn’t matter how big or scary or unrealistic the dream may seem, Jesus can make it happen. You just have to believe!
So once I get my blog designed, Luke 1:45 will be displayed and it is my hope that this verse will bring my readers just as much encouragement as it has for me.
What dreams has God laid on your heart? How is He speaking to you? Do you believe He can make it happen? I would love to hear your stories! Leave me a comment and share all that God is doing….

Jennifer, it is so beautiful to see what God is doing in your life because you believe Him and honor His leading. I’m so glad to know you.
Remember how I told you that I felt like I would be doing more speaking? Well, I met with my co-leader of the moms’ group this week & we were talking about how we really feel like it’s a season of growth for the group. Not necessarily size-wise, but definitely spiritually. We decided to start planning something specific for each meeting, which we haven’t always been doing lately, and that I would be the one to share. I am excited that God put this in my heart, and I am really excited to see how He will use my speaking at the meetings! 🙂 He’s so faithful & leads us on so many exciting adventures!
