In August I wondered if we’d make it through the school year without Jackson getting thrown out of pre-school. He had, after all, hurled a truck at a little boy during his school’s meet the teacher night.
Now here we are in May and it’s the last day of school. I have mixed emotions about this.
This year has exceeded my expectations.
God has definitely been in the details.
Jackson loves school. He loves his teachers. He has flourished and we have seen it first hand.
I am so thankful for the teachers he had. God truly answered our prayers through Ms. Kristin and Ms. Kasey. These ladies saw past the biting and the lack of words, to the heart of an amazing little boy who is pure joy.
As I type these words I have to fight back tears.
We have been so fortunate to have these ladies in Jackson’s life. They have poured into him, loved him, and helped us through some difficult stuff.
Thank you Ms. Kristin and Ms. Kasey!
What an amazing first year of pre-school.

Oh Jennifer you just made me cry. I have always loved kids. And I am so blessed that God had chosen me to be one of his first teachers. I live that little boy and will cherish the memories I have of him.

Thank you so much! Jackson is an absolute treasure! He makes me laugh every single day. Even when we’re not in school… I just think about that mischevious little laugh or something silly he did and it keeps me smiling! He’s famous at my house. My son knows him from all the pictures and stories I share! He is an amazing, happy, funny, brilliant little man and I’ve loved seeing him thrive this year! Thank you for trusting us and not giving up! I know he will continue to surprise, frustrate and amaze you! That’s why we become mothers and teachers! We just get to love the kids and the ride they take us on! đŸ™‚
